After-School Program

Starting in September, String Thing Studio will,once again, be hosting our after school program for children ages 7 - 12 years old. The program will consist of 2 hour weekly creative activities in knitting, crochet and weaving over a 12 week period.  By the end of the 12 weeks, students will be ready to progress to more complex projects and reading patterns.The time before and after the lesson allows the students to work on their current project or get some school work done before heading home.  Please indicate on your sign up sheet if there are special dietary needs.  If you would be in need of pick up from one of our neighborhood schools withing walking distance of the shop, please indicate that on your registration.

Meeting day:  Wednesdays from 4pm - 6 pm

Dates for Fall 2019 would be as follows:

September 11th, 18th, 25th

October 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th

November 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th

December 4th

*12/4 will be a make up day

Dates for Winter 2019 - 2020 would be as follows:

December 11th, 18th

January 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th

February 5th, 12th, 26th

March 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th

*3/4 will be a make up day

Dates for Spring 2020 would be as follows:

April 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th

May 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th

June 3rd, 10, 17th, 24

*6/24 will be a make up day

The cost for the program is $710 for the 12 weeks per season  which includes supplies.
